It’s another late edition but it’s here nevertheless. My long story short, this week we have;
1. Designer Pain – Ryan Leslie
The incredibly talented Ryan Leslie is here with new music and a new album that is days away. One thing I can tell you for a fact is that this is another hall of fame deserving song. He is an artist that does not settle until what he produces is perfection in the highest form. This song is another one of those. The video is even more amazing – watch out for both.
2. I See You – Ivory Namara Ft. Kelvin K
Uganda you’ll be excited to know that we have added another amazing female singer to the list of Ugandan talent fit for global recognition. She will hands down give any international artist a run for their money with this one. Kelvin K also puts up another global performance and together they create a world class jam.
3. So Lo Wine – Magazeen Ft. Wale & Wizkid
Wizkid and Wale on track means “murder” and this time there is an addition to the crime with Magazeen who was absolutely amazing on this song. Together they all give us another one for the clubs and parties.
4. 100 – The Game Ft. Drake
The Game is one of my best friend’s favorite rappers and because of him I grew a liking of his music and eventually I discovered the greatness my buddy saw in him. This greatness makes an appearance on this track that features Drake. If my opinion means anything, he killed Drake on this one.
5. Simati Niya – Cynthia Morgan
Cynthia Morgan is still rocking air waves with “German Juice” and now she has yet another potential successor of the highly successful song.
6. All Eyes on you – Meek Mill Ft. Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj
The most popular couple in Hip Hop at the moment finally shows up on a jam together. Something we have been craving and asking for since it was first said that they were engaged. They invite Breezy to do justice to the song and in composition, it is a great composition.
7. Sugar – Midi
Midi represents from Nigeria and it is another glorious sound from this week’s countdown.
8. What’s Normal Anyway – Miguel
I finally listened to the new Miguel album and people!!!??? You need to get your hands on this beautiful creation from the Grammy winner. His last album was worth a Grammy and this one just might be as well.
9. Hold on – Maurice Kirya
With love from Uganda, Maurice does what the world is finally starting to realise and appreciate his unique craft for; – quality unique music. This song is as real as it gets, he describes a situation that calls for patience and a situation anyone can be in or has been in. I’ll not say more, I am reviewing it soon.
10. My baby Just Cares For Me – Usher
Usher Usher Usher!!! This gentleman is my favourite musician of all time. I’d save millions for a flight and ticket to go abroad and attend an Usher concert. Just wait for my millions to pile up and I’ll be sharing pictures here. Anyway, this is his latest jam and it is as unique as he promised his “UR” album would be.
Miguel – Wildheart (album)
Till next week, enjoy these updates on your playlist.
