Another great week and trending this week is Ms. Jennifer Lopez. She comes back with two super powerful collaborations with two super powerful Gentleman. So So Def is also back in the building and let’s get right into it;
1. What You Mean To Me – Jennifer Lopez Ft. Trey Songz
2. Waterbed – Kevin McCall ft. Chris Brown
Remember what happened the last time these two were on a song together? Well two things happened, Rihanna was dissed and a great song came out of it. They are here again with a new scene for making love.
3. Try Me – Jason Derulo ft. Jennifer Lopez
4. Trap Queen (cover) – Ed Sheeran
This one straight up sounds like a good boy trying to be gangster. Does he pull it off? Mmmmm… Heck ya! It’s Ed Sheeran for goodness’ sake. This is a pretty sick cover.
5. Torture – Austin Mahone
6. Let Me Go – Konshens
The reigning king of the dancehall is here with fresh music. Silence doesn’t mean a brother is gone. He still got it and this goes to reaffirm that.
7. The Hills – The Weeknd
His next album is the most anticipated in my music circles. It is because he has been on a streak of hit after hit and this can only mean a great album when it comes.
8. M’S – Asap Rocky ft. Lil’ Wayne
ASAP Rocky should have an album out soon and from singles like this one, that album will be something. Lil Wayne brings his humour and catchy punchlines here and it is all awesome. Well packaged song, well-chosen feature artist.
9. Where You At (W.Y.A) – Jermaine Dupri ft. Shad Moss (Bow Wow)
10. League Of My Own – Samantha J ft. Dej Loaf
“Tight up skirt” by Samantha J got clubs jumping all over the world and it also got girls shopping for tight up skirts. Now she teams up with the hottest female rap act in the game Dej Loaf and they are making it clear in what league they belong.
Only – Fuse ODG
He is one of Africa’s greatest music exports and he does well on his latest song. Still representing and selling Africa’s musical image to the world as always.
Till next week, enjoy these updates on your playlist.
