THE WEEK’S TOP TEN WITH PAULO

image

Good morning world,

They say the internet killed radio. How true is this? Very true I supposed. The internet is awash with a lot of leaked music that gets to radio and we are already tired of listening to it. This affects the musicians and their careers a great deal.

But nevertheless, this also gives us great new music every week and for this week;

1) Brown sugar – Ray J ft. Lil Wayne

The last time Ray J made a song that got my undivided attention was the Kim Kardashian targeted song where he bragged about hitting it first. Then I landed on this one featuring Little Wayne. And my God!!!??? There is nothing really special about the song but it is nice in an inexplicable way.

2) Bite the Bullet – Melanie Fiona

If you didn’t appreciate her “4 am” song then you probably don’t know it or you didn’t hear it. That’s the only logical explanation. She brings the house down again with this one. I reviewed it this week and check out the link http://fdrmx.com/melanie-fiona-bite-the-bullet-single-review/

3) Bad blood (remix) – Taylor Swift ft. Kendrick Lamar

Taylor swift and Kendrick Lamar on the same song… enough said.

4) Not letting Go – Tinie Tempah ft. Jess Glynne

Tinie Tempah ladies and gentlemen – the British rapper is back on the scene with fresh music. This dude always scores all my points when it comes to unique music and the most exciting delivery from the Great Britain. This song scores all those points as well.

5) Million – Tink

6) This Summer’s Gonna Hurt Like A Mother_er – Maroon 5

Adam Levine and his band are not letting us rest. After an amazing album, they return with another potential summer banger which you will absolutely love. Adam Levine and his team know how to keep their act together and give summer the sound the fans deserve.

7) Go out tonight – Drake

I told my friends a few days ago that this was the best Drake song of the moment. You know why? The element of the old Drake before the fame and money ruined his sound is felt on this one. The new Drake is still incredible and more artistic but the old Drake is the dude the world fell in love with. He is present on this song.

8) She Don’t Love me – Boosie Badazz ft. Chris Brown

Chris Brown is here almost every week. That goes to show you that he is an artist that doesn’t give his passion a break. He is always working hard to be better and yet he is already one of the very best in the industry. We also see the return of a rebranded Lil Boosie now as Boosie Badazz.

9) 2nite – Dr. Dre Ft. Kendrick Lamar & Jeremih

I cannot stress this Jeremih point enough, the dude is a genius. Every successful song now has him on the chorus. Here he is with a legend and the future, all three deliver exceptionally to give us this master piece.

10) The way we are – Alesha Dixon

By show of hands, how many of you know Alesha Dixon? 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6… oh! Only a handful. Well she is about to make an everlasting reputation. Just listen very carefully and appreciate her style.

Bonus

Forever – MI

From a gentleman I believe is Africa’s finest rapper, a man who has never underperformed or disappointed on a track. This is one of his classics, a song that still impresses me like it did the first time.

Till next week, enjoy these updates on your playlist.
