THE WEEK’S TOP TEN WITH PAULO

Good morning everyone,

Another Saturday is upon us and so is another list of my recommended songs from this week. Exciting remixes, confirmation of rumored collaborations, artists’ comebacks and reunions… everything is in here.

Let’s get into it:

1. Avicii – Waiting for love

What more can I say? When it’s Avicii you know what to expect and it’s exactly what’s brought out here. Great song for everyone that appreciates a different sound and style of music delivery.

2. Living the dream – Sean Paul

I’ve been listening to Sean Paul since I was 10 years old. Over 10 years later and this man is still bringing hits that cannot be outmatched by the other players in the game. Sean Paul always displays an admirable execution of great tracks that keep the audiences thirsty for more and this is no exception

3. Earned it (remix) – Trey Songz

The Weeknd’s 50 Shades of Grey successful soundtrack “Earned it” just got a whole new sound to it. I choose to call it “50 Shades of Trey,” as the Trigga man himself has put his amazing vocals to the give the world a superb remix.

4. W.A.Y (Where You At) – Jermaine Dupri ft. Bow Wow

Bow Wow is back home where I have always believed he belongs. Home with JD at So So Def. And they are getting right at it with a new jam that’s exactly what Bow and JD have always been about – GREAT MUSIC. Welcome back Bow.

5. Baby daddy – Iyanya

Iyanya is my favorite Nigerian musician and easily my favorite African musician outside Uganda and South Africa’s AKA. He is a hit factory that keeps releasing massive track after another. To think of it, there must be an album on the way. We should start mentally and physically preparing for the greatness that’s about to put us on our feet. This song demonstrates that greatness.

6. I can – Drake ft. Beyoncé

They have finally put voices to the rumor and the tag “rumor” can now be dropped from the Beyoncé – Drake collaboration. It was earlier rumored that they were in studio together for a jam that would feature on Drake’s new album, well that jam is here. Remember their collaboration “Mine” on Beyoncé’s recent album? They did it again.

7. On a wave – Drake ft. Tinashe

Drake did a remix to her hit break through song “2 On” and it was huge. Now he teams up with the awesome Tinashe for an all new jam that will knock your socks right off.

8. Classic man (remix) – T.I

Jidenna and GianArthur’s “Classic Man” has a remix by a real all time classic man, the hustle gang member Mr. T.I himself. This gentleman know how to add value to a song and here he displays his effortless swag and flow to make this jam a classic one indeed.

9. Get low – 50 cent ft. Jeremih, 2 Chainz & T.I

50 Cent and Jeremih have worked together again and just like the first time, this jam is huge and you’ll love it. It adds more taste and freshness with T.I and 2 Chainz appearing on it. Like I’ve always said, Jeremih is the man to use on any chorus these days if you need a sound that’s working for the fans.

10. Tryna f#*k – Juicy J, Drake, Ty Dollar sign

When it all these gentlemen on a track, you could do no wrong. It is epic freshness coming from this song with each one of them bringing it and trying to shut the others down. This enabled them to deliver a magnificent song.

Bonus

Don’t kill the fun – Sevyn Streeter ft. Chris Brown

This is another duo that has mastered the art of making insane collaborations together. This song is always fresh whenever I listen to it. It might have been slightly swept under the radar, so for anyone that didn’t hear it, I recommend.

Till next week, enjoy these updates on your playlist,
